Raising the God Consciousness in the Region of Rochester

The National Day of Prayer is an American right and privilege. In many places around the world, this is an unheard-of reality. American history shows the high price we have paid to be able to gather in public places to call on the name of Jesus, the Name that is above every other name. It is a joy and blessing to be able to join others of faith.

Amendment 1: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof (my emphasis); or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, or to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Dr. David J. Singleton Bio.

Areas of which Dr. Singleton presently serves: 36 years Senior Pastor at Ark of Jesus Ministries, President/CEO of Celebration of Life Community, Inc. On the Board of Directors for The Unified Mission of Rochester, Inc. Chaplin for the Rochester Fire Department, Founder of Kingdom Assignment Ministries International, Inc. Board of Directors for Flower City Habitat for Humanity, Professor of Hermeneutics, Missiology and Christian Education.

As a man of God, God has used Dr. Singleton since 2012 to lead the National Day of Prayer Initiative in Greater Rochester, NY and to assist in other areas of the country. Prayer is not only our right but our privilege, and Bishop Singleton has championed this cause for Rochester and beyond.

Further, he is concerned about getting the global harvest in whereby many will know Jesus as their personal savior. God has given a vision for the Body of Christ and has seen fit to use Dr. Singleton as a conduit to begin sharing the vision. Dr. Singleton is the founder of Global Impact Saturday which is the Saturday before the third Sunday in September every year. It is a time when the Body of Christ is asked to come outside of their worship facility and be a visual conduit of the love and power of God right on their own lawn. They are to do whatever God puts in their heart to do. This is to be done all on the same day, for whatever length of time each church chooses all over the world.

This is intended to reach souls for the cause of Christ Jesus our Lord. For the Word of God says Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. KJV and then Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works . These things are good and profitable unto men. KJV

Bishop Singleton has built his life and his community engagement around these scriptures and the Word of God as a whole. He invites you partner with us to lift the name of the Lord!
